Shoreham Lifeboat Station is holding its annual open day on Sunday 26 June from 10am to 4pm.
The state of the art building on Kingston Beach will throw open its doors and visitors can go aboard the all weather Tamar lifeboat and D-class inshore lifeboat in the station. These will also launch twice during the day (operationally permitting) and the crew will carry out a man over board demonstration.
You can meet the volunteer lifeboat crew and see the lifeboat models on display by the lifeboat model society.
The coastguards and sea safety team will be on hand to give advice as well and the children can meet our RNLI mascot Stormy Stan or have their face painted.
There will also be a bouncy castle, a tombola and refreshments stalls and a chance to buy a souvenir from the station’s shop.
Free admission. All proceeds go to Shoreham RNLI.
