The inshore lifeboat at Shoreham was launched to a report of a collision between two jet skis.
The incident had happened just outside the Shoreham Harbour entrance. As the inshore lifeboat crew approached the scene, another jet skier told them that the injured person on one of the jet skis involved had been taken ashore.
The crew then headed to the casualty to offer medical assistance but an ambulance was already there helping the injured jet skier. The lifeboat then returned to station.
