A selection of
videos featuring us and the RNLI in general: This is the latest
footage and the RNLI's new campaign - shot mainly at the
Lifeboat College at Poole. This
recent commercial for the RNLI has been shown at cinemas,
on satellite TV and on Channels 4 & 5. This film
shows an Atlantic 75 (like the ones stationed at Brighton
and Littlehampton) and a Trent class ALB at work. It has
a good soundtrack by Sporty Spice too. In stark
contrast the last film has a traditional soundtrack by
The Dubliners, and is much older. However, it is included
because it has lots of footage of Tyne class ALBs like
ours, including actual rescues and several slipway
launches. A great
clip of Shoreham's ALB driving into heavy sea during an
exercise with the rescue helicopter India Juliett. Thanks to the IJ
crew for this one. An edited
piece produced by The Argus, detailing the service to a
fire on November 5th 2006 at Brighton Marina. The
original footage was shot by the crew aboard the boat. A small
film of Shoreham's boat being launched on a publicity
exercise (hence the apparently large number of crew!). Lifeboat
